Here in LA, it’s currently HOT. The dryness and summer sun doesn’t have to dry you out, if you’re using the right products to promote hydration in the skin!! Here are my HERO PRODUCTS for this summer. Beauty finds that I’ll keep coming back to all season and have the formulations to withstand the beach days!
Just started using this foundation two days ago, and I’m not stopping anytime soon!!! I’m so into super natural, dewy, HYDRATED looking skin, and this foundation gives you just that. Feels like a CC cream, feels like moisturizer, but blends and smooths over your imperfections. So lovely for the summer makeup routine because its just EASY to use. I blend in with my fingers.
This concealer is my pick for summer because of it’s high coverage. The absolute tiniest dot of product with pack so much coverage and intensity under the eyes.
Definitely my biggest tip for a no-makeup look is using less product. Anything with a high amount of coverage to be able to use less is also going to last so much longer without feeling cakey throughout the day.
This product, again, has such a high intensity of color pigment. (Can you spot the trend starting here? Lol) You barely have to use any to get a glowing effect of highlight to the cheek bones, bridge of the nose, and cupid’s bow. I personally like to use this directly after the foundation and concealer is applied, because you can really blend it into the skin and it will look like you are glowing from within!!
This brow gel is a hero product in my book. You can totally pencil in your brows first to create a little more shape, but I personally used only this brow gel to give my brows definition, staying power, and a little extra fluff in the right direction. A huge summer makeup trend is brows brushed up, nice and full and bushy - LOVE this also because it’s so simple and quick to do before a casual day of errands or a few hours at the beach!
And lastly, no, this is not a “makeup” item. BUT great makeup is always enhanced and a little extra color, right?! This is my fave for an at-home, DIY, self tan routine. It’s got a fantastic natural looking (yet dark) color, and I never get embarrassing streaks or unblended areas. I personally use a mitt to apply all over, then sleep in the solution overnight, or chill at home for a few hours in my robe before rinsing off.
