Planning a personal elopement that resonates with you as a couple

We work a lot of elopements, and one trend I've been seeing from some of my couples is their decision to get ready for the wedding/elopement TOGETHER. It's non-traditional and not for everyone, yes, but on a day that is about cultivating your love and your story, I think it's an extremely sweet and intimate way to start off your wedding day. Firm supporter of our couples doing whatever feels authentic to THEM!! ❤️

Traditionally, brides and grooms get ready separately, with their respective entourage of bridesmaids and groomsmen, maintaining the element of surprise until the bride walks down the aisle. However, an increasing number of couples are embracing the idea of spending the morning together, helping each other get dressed, and sharing in the excitement of the day.

The decision to get ready together can be a powerful way to cultivate the love and connection that the wedding day represents. By choosing to spend those precious moments together, couples can create a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere, easing the nerves that often accompany the big day. It also provides the opportunity to create lasting memories, as you share in the laughter, anticipation, and joy of preparing for your lifetime commitment to one another.

As you plan your special day, remember to prioritize the experiences and moments that will truly resonate with you as a couple, creating a wedding that is uniquely your own!
