Here’s a detail that made this day unforgettable: their ceremony was conducted in ASL.

With just 36 of their closest loved ones, the couple created an intimate celebration centered on meaning and connection. Mark and Christopher wrote their own vows, delivered in ASL, with friends interpreting for their hearing guests. The couple's choice to lead with ASL speaks to something they discovered together: sign language opened up a channel of communication and expression that felt "beautifully rich, nuanced, and poetic."

Our couple got married at Grass Room in downtown Los Angeles (a part of the Marvimon Wedding Venue family). Grass Room features a jungle of plants, pops of bright color and patterns, and a greenhouse roof to let so much light into the refurbished urban space.

The bride wanted her freckles to shine through the foundation, not be covered up! Erin, from our team, executed the most beautiful look that looked polished, yet not too done up. The venue the couple chose was The Stonehurst in Los Angeles, and the day was captured by the incredible Jes Workman - and it wouldn’t be a wedding of hers without a LOT of film photography.
