Accessibility Statement

Emily Lynn & Company

Last Updated: September, 2026

1. Our Commitment

Emily Lynn & Company wants every client and visitor to be able to use this website, learn about our services, and reach our team, regardless of ability or the technology they use. Inclusivity is the foundation of how we work with clients, and we hold our website to the same standard.

2. Standards We Follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act and California law for websites.

3. What We Do

  • Text and background colors are chosen to meet WCAG contrast minimums.
  • The site can be navigated by keyboard, including menus, photo galleries, and the contact form. A "Skip to content" link is available at the top of every page.
  • Photos that carry information have descriptive alternative text; decorative photos are marked so screen readers skip them.
  • Automatically moving content, such as rotating reviews and press features, has a pause control.
  • Pages use proper headings and landmarks so assistive technology can move through them.
  • Form errors are announced and explained in plain language.
  • We test with automated tools and by hand, and we fix issues as we find them.

4. Known Limitations

Some older blog posts contain photos supplied by photographers without descriptive text, and some third-party content we link to is outside our control. We are working through the archive. If you hit something that does not work for you, tell us and we will fix it or get you the information another way.

5. Need Help or an Accommodation?

We are happy to help by email, text, or on a call. If any part of this website is hard to use, or you would like to book, ask a question, or get any information in a different format, reach us any of these ways:

We respond to accessibility requests as a priority.

6. Feedback

If you have suggestions for making this website easier to use, we would love to hear them. Email info@emilylynnandcompany.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line.
