Q. When you're not working, what do you love to do in your free time?
A. I love to spend time with family and friends! I also love going on nature walks, going to the movies and trying new restaurants.
Q. Tell us more about your story and career.
A. I’ve always had a passion for beauty and knew I wanted to build a career doing what I love. After cosmetology school, I started out in makeup sales at MAC, where I discovered that my favorite part was the artistry and helping people feel their best. That passion led me to bridal makeup and I’ve been specializing in weddings since 2016. Later, I went back to school to earn my esthetician license, which has given me an even deeper appreciation for skincare and creating beautiful, lasting makeup. I truly love being a part of such a special day, the excitement that comes with weddings and helping my clients feel confident and beautiful. I’m excited to continue growing my career and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me next.
Q. What brought you to Southern California?
A. I’m originally from the Midwest and always wanted to move somewhere warm and sunny. I thrive in sunny weather and am happy to call Southern California home.
Q. What are your favorite locations or venues to work?
A. My favorite locations are anywhere with lots of nature or a view of the ocean!
Q. What is a current beauty trend you fully stand behind?
A. Soft timeless glam. I love creating looks that enhance your features while still feeling like you. I think the best makeup is the kind that makes you feel confident, beautiful, and comfortable in your own skin.
Q. Tell us more about your art.
A. My artistry is all about creating a look that feels like an elevated version of yourself. I love soft, timeless glam but I also enjoy the creativity of bringing each client’s vision to life, whether that’s a natural look, full glam or somewhere in between. My goal is always to create a look that complements your features, personal style, and how you want to feel on your special day.
Q. What fuels you in your career?
A. What fuels me most in my career is continuing to grow as an artist and being able to create something special for each client. I love that every person, every vision and every wedding is different and it keeps my work exciting and inspiring.
Q. What you enjoy most about working with brides and bridal parties?
A. What I enjoy most about working with brides and bridal parties is the fun energy that comes with the morning. I love hearing everyone’s stories, getting to know them and being part of such a special and exciting time in their lives. My favorite part of the wedding day is seeing the bride’s reaction when she sees her makeup for the first time. Seeing her smile and how excited she is makes the whole experience so special. If I’m able to stay long enough to see her in her wedding dress, that’s also such a beautiful moment because you get to see everything come together.
