Get to know Daisy…

Q. When you're not working, what do you love to do in your free time?
A. I have 2 dogs - in my free time we take long walks, take them to the beach, and on my zen time I like to read!

Q. Tell us more about your story and your career.
A. In high school, I started experimenting with makeup and would always get my friends ready for dances and special events just for fun. My mom was actually the one who suggested I go to cosmetology school, and that’s where my passion for hair truly began. As I trained, I fell in love with hairstyling—especially special occasion styling and updos.
After earning my cosmetology license, I began working at blow dry bars where many brides would come in to get ready for their big day. Being around that environment sparked something in me, and little by little I started booking more weddings. Over time, bridal work naturally became a big part of my career.
Today, I work full-time as a hairstylist in the salon, and my weekends are dedicated to weddings. I truly love getting brides and their bridal parties ready—it’s such a meaningful moment to be part of. My goal is always to bring a calm, relaxing energy to the getting-ready process because there are so many emotions on a wedding morning.
Hair and makeup are incredibly fun and creative for me, but what makes it even more special are the connections I get to make with brides and the important people in their lives. Being trusted to help someone feel their most beautiful on such an important day is something I never take for granted.

Q. What brought you to Southern California?
A. I was born in Santa Barbara, CA. I love living in Southern CA. And I love that there are so many beautiful wedding venues!

Q. What are some of your favorite venues you’ve worked at?
A. Montecito Club, Villa & Vine, and Eden Gardens, Casa Cielo.

Q. What is a current beauty trend you fully stand behind?
A. Glowy skin and a soft pink blush!

Q. Please tell us more about your art.
A. My art is centered around enhancing natural beauty while creating timeless, elegant looks that photograph beautifully and last all day. I love creating soft glam makeup and romantic hairstyles that make my clients feel confident and elevated without feeling overdone. My goal is always to tailor each look to the individual, considering their personal style, face shape, hair texture, and the overall vibe of the wedding. For me, hair and makeup is more than just the final look; it’s about creating an experience where my clients feel relaxed, cared for, and excited about how they look and feel.

Q. What fuels you in your career?
A. What fuels me the most is seeing how much confidence someone gains when they feel beautiful. I love the creative side of hair and makeup, but the connections I make with clients are what truly keep me passionate about what I do. Being trusted with such an important moment in someone’s life is incredibly meaningful to me. I’m also constantly inspired by learning new techniques, evolving trends, and continuing to grow as an artist.

Q. What you enjoy most about working with brides and bridal parties?
A.What I enjoy most is the energy of the wedding morning. It’s such a special time filled with excitement, laughter, and emotions, and I love being part of that moment. I also enjoy creating a calm and relaxing environment for the bride and her bridal party while helping everyone feel their best. Seeing the bride’s reaction when she looks in the mirror, and watching the whole group come together ready for the day, is always incredibly rewarding.

Q. What is your favorite part of a wedding day?
A. My favorite part is the final moment when the bride is fully ready and sees her complete look for the first time! It’s such an emotional and exciting moment, and it’s amazing to see her confidence and happiness. I also love seeing how the entire bridal party comes together once everyone is finished…it’s like watching the vision for the day come to life.

I truly believe that hair and makeup artists play an important role in setting the tone for the wedding morning. I always strive to bring a calm, positive energy to the space while staying organized and efficient so the day runs smoothly. My goal is for every bride and bridal party member to feel beautiful, comfortable, and completely ready to enjoy such a special day.
