Katelyn

Katelyn barely wore makeup growing up, and a teenage visit to a MAC counter went so wrong that she vowed it would never happen to anyone else. That pushed her into professional artistry. She attended a top makeup school in Los Angeles and trained across the full range, from natural beauty to television, film, theater and heavy glam. Her work has been featured in Brides, Martha Stewart Weddings, Anti-Bride and Vogue. She has also worked with the Oprah Winfrey Network on projects for small creator brands.

Her specialty is natural, flawless makeup that looks like skin, built with luxury skincare, gua sha and other prep tools. Clients consistently single out one skill: listening. She takes in exactly what a bride wants, then delivers it with poise. The feedback she hears most is the one she’s proudest of: “I looked like the best version of myself.”

Katelyn will go to great lengths for a bride. For one Montana wedding, she hiked her kit to the top of a mountain to do glam with a view. She calls it one of the most fun and rewarding days of her career.

When she’s not working, Katelyn is outdoors or on the road. She travels constantly, reads widely and writes poetry.
