Q. When you're not working, what do you love to do in your free time?
A. When I'm not working, I love taking my daughter on new adventures (lots of trying new coffee shops!), traveling as much as I can, painting, finding the best places to eat great food, thrift store shopping & spending as much time outdoors as I can!
Q. Tell us more about your story and your career.
A. I’ve been drawn to art in all forms especially makeup from a very young age. I started in theater helping with stage makeup and tried exploring as many forms of makeup as I could until eventually finding what I loved most in working with editorial/bridal makeup. I’ve been working as a professional makeup artist for years now & am so passionate about constantly evolving as an artist/perfecting my art through learning from other artists, constantly trying new products & working at my craft.
Q. Please tell us more about your art.
A. A focus of mine in my art is creating makeup looks that are skin forward and details focused. There is always a thrill at trying new looks & challenging myself as an artist but I do always come back to the basics & find new ways to continually perfect even the simplest detail.
Q. What fuels you in your career?
A. I find so much joy spending time in nature allowing that time to refuel me and inspire me. (One of my favorite places is the Sequoia National Forest!) Another thing that fuels my career is traveling. When I get the chance to travel to new countries (or new places in general) I love to learn about other cultures, embrace different kinds of food, art & see a new perspective which is refreshing as an artist.
Q. What is your favorite part of a wedding day?
A. One of my favorite parts of a wedding day is the final reveal when a bride sees the finished look & is thrilled with the results. It’s such a privilege helping a client feel her most beautiful on such an important day!

Our bridesmaid & groom hair stylist Kelsea was also fabulous - going above and beyond for our 70’s inspired bridesmaid looks. She also handled a little timing snafu (due to a bridesmaid running quite a bit late, no fault of her team!) with a level of chill that helped me remain calm and relaxed even if we were a little late - and she helped us catch up time as best she could! They were both a joy to have around on the wedding day - couldn’t recommend higher!”
