Monet is the stylist people call for a flawless blowout, fast. Known for her blowouts and dry styling, she pairs polish with efficiency, a rare combination on a tight wedding-morning timeline.

Born in Pasadena and raised in Las Vegas, Monet launched her career in Las Vegas. There she served as lead hair stylist for a salon she helped build from the ground up, down to the building itself, and trained its entire team in updos, blowouts and dry styling. Then she took a leap: moving back to California and starting over. That move, she says, opened doors to clients she never would have dreamed of.

She has styled Britney Spears, chef Giada De Laurentiis, Christina Perri, Natalie Halcro, jewelry designer Melinda Maria and Nora Weinstein. She has worked the Grammys, Latin Grammys, Oscars, Emmys and the annual Baby2Baby Gala. Her work has appeared in People, and her brand clients include Urban Decay, Nike, Target, Melinda Maria Jewelry and Eccoci. A career highlight was building a private clientele across Hollywood, Brentwood and Bel-Air, seeing clients in their homes two to three times a week.

For all of it, Monet says the glamour was never the point. What keeps her inspired is the people: the trust clients place in her and the chance to send them out feeling confident.

At home, she homeschools her two young children. Her friends call her a serial hobbyist who has to master something before deciding whether it’s for her. The current obsession is sourdough.
