Natural Curls and Radiant Skin Forward Makeup Look
for Bride at Serra Plaza in San Juan Capistrano.

When Alya first reached out to us, she told us exactly what she wanted: to look like herself. Glowy skin, a soft winged liner, lots of blush, Mission Eastern features embraced, and her beautiful natural curls preserved and celebrated. Before she found our company, she had actually been through a tough trial experience where her makeup came out caked on and her curls were ironed out and hair sprayed into something that didn't feel like her at all. She was looking for a team that would actually listen and honor what made her feel beautiful. Literally our specialty!!

For the morning of her summer wedding at Serra Plaza in San Juan Capistrano, our team created a radiant, natural, glowing look for Alya. Her makeup was all about letting her gorgeous skin shine through with lightweight airbrush foundation, a beautiful winged liner, and the prettiest flush of blush. Nothing heavy, nothing caked on. Just Alya, but elevated. For her hair, we worked with her natural curls (as they should be!!) and styled them into a romantic, loose updo with white silk flower accessories woven throughout. Her mom also got her hair and makeup done with us, and we loved helping her feel beautiful and confident with some added volume and a healthy, polished look.

Serra Plaza is one of those truly special Orange County venues. It is a Spanish colonial gem tucked into the historic Los Rios District of San Juan Capistrano, and the courtyard setting with the bubbling fountain and arched alcoves made the most romantic backdrop for Alya's June wedding. Photographer Fiona Tang captured it all in such a beautiful and artful way, and the entire vendor team brought this sweet couple’s vision to life in the most stunning way. This is what I want every bride to feel on her wedding day: seen, heard, and like the best version of herself.
