The wardrobe for this wedding was particularly my FAVE. The mother of the bride’s wedding dress was transformed into the prettiest getting ready robe/gown I’ve ever seen! So much sentiment. For the ceremony, K wore a Grace Loves Lace gown, then changed to a jumpsuit for the reception, made by Amanda James Design. K’s hair was styled in a romantic twisted updo, with makeup very minimal and classic - something that will always be timeless!

When this bride from Texas emailed me about her destination elopement, I could not have been more excited to travel back for work! Their photos + video so beautifully capture that “adventure couple” vibe.

C + S’s wedding morning started out with hair and makeup at the Four Seasons in Westlake Village! Myself and the team created natural and effortless hair and makeup looks perfect for the outdoor ceremony at Moorpark Country Club. This bride was so easy to work with and her natural beauty shined through. We chose a loose, romantic updo for her, and half up/half down with beach waves for the bridesmaids!

THIS wedding’s design and bride’s vision just made my heart sing. We brought her boho hair and makeup vision to life, and the joy felt during the day radiates through her wedding day images!

I am always going to be obsessed with a messy, beach wave hairstyle!! We curled her hair with a wand, sprayed in all the magic products, and brushed it through for a soft, effortless look and that’s perfectly boho for Palm Springs, and natural and makes Katie feel like herself.

As makeup artists, we all have our own unique taste, experience, technique, eye for things. Two of us could use the exact same concealer and one of us hate it. You know why? Because we have different processes when it comes to applying, using a brush vs. a sponge, the skin prep beforehand, the amount of powder - a number of factors that all make up the end result. Two artists could receive the same inspiration photo, and achieve the same end result, but by completely different means.

Earlier this year, I provided hair and makeup for a styled shoot in the desert of Joshua Tree, California. It was the most fun and beautiful day because I was surrounded by such incredible, professional, and skilled wedding vendors! We are v happy that this styled shoot got some love from Wedding Chicks, and was published to their wedding blog.
