What a JOY to work this beautiful wedding! For my Canadian bride, Katie, Palm Springs was a destination close to her heart. It was a place to connect with family, relax, mountain climb, AND her husband proposed in Joshua Tree. Her bridesmaids flew in from all over the world, and the happiness in the room was full!
Because this was a destination wedding, with no trial or consultation, we left a little extra time on the wedding day to perfect her vision for hair and makeup. I so appreciate when clients love my work and want they want aligns with my specialty and what I do best! It makes everything flow smoothly and they are able to trust me and just enjoy the day!
I am always going to be obsessed with a messy, beach wave hairstyle!! We curled her hair with a wand, sprayed in all the magic products, and brushed it through for a soft, effortless look and that’s perfectly boho for Palm Springs, and natural and makes Katie feel like herself. We paired that hairstyle with airbrush makeup. A natural bronze eye, fresh glowy skin, and tons of individual lashes for a pop on the eyes!!
The getting ready space was a huge, gorgeous, modern airbnb rental, right in Rancho Mirage a few blocks from the venue, Morningside Golf Club.
