Destination DREAM | Descanso Beach Club Wedding on Catalina Island

Even just taking a day trip to Catalina Island is such a getaway, but imagine a wedding weekend there!!! Lauren had her wedding at Descanso Beach Club in Catalina Island, Avalon. Although still a part of California, you can only travel there by ferry, boat, or helicopter, so it really feels like a destination spot! Even for the local Southern Californians.

The bridal party got ready at Hamilton Cove and we created the perfect classic hair and makeup look for Lauren, but a look that pairs well being near the water. Her makeup kept emphasis on the bronze/brown smokey eyes, and we will with a glowing and effortless airbrush foundation for the skin. Her bridal hairstyle was twisted half up, half down with romantic curls - super elegant!

”I got married in April and chose Emily to do my hair and makeup. I’m so happy my planner recommended her!! She seriously knows her stuff! I had brought a couple inspiration photos to the trial and we talked about the elements I liked in each photo.
