Malika & Wesley. These two flew in from Chicago to elope at the Beverly Hills courthouse, along with three days traveling all over Los Angeles County for candid snapshots of wedding week. These are just a few of the incredible images that I think really capture being true and authentic to themselves and planning a wedding in a way that reflects that.

Malika wanted to look and feel like herself and that is exactly what we executed with her hair and makeup. We elevated her natural curls, while leaving them a bit undone to feel like an everyday look.
Her makeup base was glowing airbrush foundation, minimal on eyes. Wesley even got a little male grooming done so he was camera ready all day.

Their photographer, Hannah, traveled all over Los Angeles with the couple to really culminate the essence of all of these iconic destination spots across Southern California… including Malibu, Beverly Hills, Venice, and Bel Air to name a few.

”If no one else, Emily is the only person I would want to see on a stressful wedding day. She has a calming energy and is beautiful inside and out. We worked with Emily for a test day, a pre-wedding shoot, a wedding day and 2 wedding celebration days. Emily jumped through hoops to make sure we were covered. She did H/MU for both me, my husband and my mother. We all have different styles and preferred looks and we all looked fabulous. And like ourselves! I need to come up with another event just so I can hire Emily again to do my makeup/hair.”
